The wagon will provide safe clean drinking water and is capable of killing all bacteria and viruses that might be contained in the water sources that will be purified by the Water One water wagon.

Another Water Wagon For HaitiThe Apopka Assembly of God of Apopka, Florida donated a second water wagon for Haiti. The wagon was delivered to Haiti by Mission Flights International of Fort Pierce, Florida.

 
Water Wagons For Clinics in the Dominican Republic

Water Wagons For Clinics in the Dominican RepublicThe Rotary Clubs of Englewood and Cape Coral Gold Coast of Rotary District 6960 in Florida in cooperation with the Rotary Club of Santo Domingo - Mirador of District 4060 in the Dominican Republic donated two solar powered drinking water systems to two separate medical clinics in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Additional funds for the project were provided by Rotary District 6960 and The Rotary Foundation. The project is designed to be totally off the grid and self-sustaining. The clinics will sell safe, clean water to the surrounding communities for a pennies a gallon, enough to sustain the operation of the unit and continue to provide free water to the patients of the clinics.

Solar Water Wagons For IndiaThe Rotary Clubs of Englewood, Lemon Bay Sunrise, and Cape Coral Gold Coast of Rotary District 6960 in Florida collaborated with the Rotary Clubs of Ichalkaranji/Textile City and Kolhapure Sunrise of District 3170 in India to provide two, solar powered drinking water systems for two schools in Maharashtra, India. Additional funding for the project was provided by Rotary District 6960 and The Rotary Foundation.

 
Solutions for safe drinking water

Dave PowellWe are so fortunate to live in this great country of ours. There are many blessings available to us every day and they can be so common that we never even think about them. One of these is having pure, safe water available by just turning on a spigot.
This is not true in many parts of the world, where clean, safe drinking water is just not available. Rotary International has been addressing this problem around the globe. Many countries around the world have clean drinking water because of this organization.
Today we have a major problem in Haiti. Children and adults are dying of disease borne by unsanitary water. It is estimated that 3.5 million people die every year. If your concern is the children of the world, 4,000 of them die every day from water-borne illnesses. Many of these are in Haiti.
